Plan a film
Before spending anything. The audit asks the questions that decide whether a film is still worth watching in three years — and says so plainly when it thinks an idea is weak. It never stops you making it.
What is the film about?
Write it properly. This is the only direction the studio gets — the script, the casting and every scene come from it. Four sentences produces a Wikipedia entry read aloud. Say the shape, what is held back, and the lesson.
How should it look?
Fixed for the whole film — portraits, scenes and moving shots all use it, or the film changes appearance halfway through. The examples below are all drawn from the same prompt, so the comparison is honest.
